Our Story

Jiemon Okura founded a brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto, where pure spring water and merchant routes met.

1905

The name Gekkeikan — “Crown of Laurel” — was adopted as a promise of victory, quality and excellence.

Today

Tradition and brewing science continue side by side, carrying Fushimi sake to tables around the world.
